BORN NAMED PHANTOM FIREWORKS MANAGER OF THE YEAR

(Youngstown, OH)-Two Ohio managers were recognized at Phantom Fireworks Managers Meeting, held in Youngstown from April 1-3, for their performance in 2002. Judy Born was named "Manager of the Year" and Michelle Carroll was recognized for her work in the community.

The annual meeting precedes the kickoff of the fireworks season, with all Phantom stores opening throughout the country on April 4.

Born, who has worked for Phantom for seven years, was recognized in front of her peers by company President Bruce Zoldan. "Manager of the Year" is awarded based on store sales, customer service, leadership and overall management performance.

Three other Phantom store mangers also received awards. Shirley Haley and Thea Anderson were recognized for outstanding performance in 2002 in winning the "Abe Yampolski Leadership Award." Jamie Hobbs won the "Fred Grossman Customer Service Award."

Phantom Fireworks operates 33 stores and over 1,100 seasonal locations.
