Pearl Harbor Day
On December 7, 1941, more than 2,400 people lost their lives when a surprise attack devastated the U.S. Pacific Fleet in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. As President Roosevelt said, it was a "date that will live in infamy."
On National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day, we think of the brave men and women who died on that infamous day in 1941, and honor all those who sacrificed for our liberty during World War II.
